In her coverage of your wedding day, Jody will combine an editorial style with portraiture and setting shots to artistically capture the magic and unique tone of your event.   Jody will find and record the small, personal moments, whether it is reading the engraving on your ring for the first time, getting tangled in the bustling of a gown, or losing composure during the first few moments with your new bride- as well as large group interactions to record a history of your family.   Though the day itself will fly by, it is the creation of photographic keepsakes of the detail and emotion of the event that will help you remember your wedding day for years to come.

Her services start with a consultation with the bride and groom to understand the attitudes, hopes, and desires for the wedding.   This gives Jody a chance to learn if you have any film preferences, special moments, people or surprises not to be missed, and other logistics of the event.   On the wedding day, she will arrive in time to shoot the setting and capture the excitement of the bride getting ready.   She will stay to capture your first moments together, the rejoicing during the reception and on through the evening, as long as there are people and interactions you wish to have remembered.

Jody typically shoots a mix of color and black and white (also sepia), 35mm format images.   You will receive 200 or more files on CD, a set of proofs, and access to your images online via a password protected area of the Holmanphotography.com website where you, your family, and friends will be able to order prints directly.
